Scientifically Autism Debate

Thimerosal is made headlines recently as ten years. The parents were furious. It seemed that the mercury-based ingredients normally included in vaccines caused autism since 1930. We were in the midst of an autism epidemic, we read, and pharmaceutical companies deliberately and knowingly endanger our children had their budget through the use of preservatives such as thimerosal. My wife and I did what any other couple in America was doing at the moment - we fed continuously to vaccinate or not to vaccinate our children. Was the threat real? Thimerosal really put our children? Or were we not needlessly endanger our children by avoiding vaccinations?

According to the National Autism Association, "An Analysis of the U.S. Department of Education data shows in 1992-1993 compared with 2000-2001, there were an average increase of 644% of all American children" (NAA nd,). Frightening statistics, to say the least, but the statistics really tell the whole story? As an educator I know that education is our understanding of learning differ dramatically improved. We have much better conditions such as autism diagnosis, and we are able to do so at a much younger age. This is a blessing, in most respects, because the faster we can work with these children, the deeper will be our influence. But that early detection is a two-edged sword, for all events and purposes, covers the story behind the statistics. Cases of autism actually shot through the roof, or have we just become better diagnose children who go unnoticed in previous years?

It's an interesting dilemma. There is another question that has been collected and were not sufficient. One point, mercury poisoning is, without doubt, a terrible and prevent state. It is also one where the symptoms mimic autism. This does not mean that mercury poisoning is autism or autism. Point two. We know that mercury poisoning is usually reversible by chelation therapy. Since a disability, by its nature is not something we can activate or would not suggest that cases of mercury poisoning, which are reported as "autism", not autism at all but mercury poisoning?

The purpose of this discussion is not to inflame the parents of autistic children. Nothing is more devastating than a boy who is not healthy as it should be. The parents have every right to shout and demand an answer. What is being proposed that simply pointed to mercury and has done nothing to scream the real determining factor behind the rise in autism can be found, nor has it decided cases, or better the lives of children.

It was about 20 years ago, thimerosal was phased out of service. Many manufacturers voluntarily suspended its use, long before the federal government finally came, long before the newspapers began to murmur against thimerosal. But is the epidemic of autism and new cases reported every day. While we are busy with more yelling, then go to our children without answers and without assistance.
